Optima has been making traditional English, hand fit picnic baskets for over 60 years with fine china, glass and table linens. Each traditional English basket is hand woven from full willow from sustainable sources. Unlike most picnic baskets, our traditional baskets are woven with European willow that turns a beautiful golden color, naturally in the sun. We only use soft leather on all the handles and straps in our traditional ranges.

The pattern for these baskets was designed by William Hooker for the Royal Horticultural Society in 1815. Presented in a trunk style basket.
